At Cape Associates, our most precious assets are our customers, our customer relationships and our employees.  The community around us is what provides the opportunities to develop these relationships.  We have a deep conviction to give back to the community around us.

At the core of our philanthropic efforts is our annual playhouse program.  Please take a moment to look at our playhouse page to learn more about that program.

A cause very near and dear to Cape Associates is the Michael H. Cole Charitable Giving Foundation. Click below to see a video of the Annual Michael H. Cole Charitable Giving Foundation Golf Tournament, an event we're proud to be a part of every year.

Our industry had myriad of regulations thrust at it, at the town, county, state and federal levels in just the last handful of years.  Never has it been more important to band together to be a voice for our trade.  Our past president, Michael Cole and past Vice President, Rich Bryant have both served terms as President and Board Member of HBRACC. Senior Project Manager, April Ducott is on the current Board of Directors.

The past few years we have participated with the Y through volunteerism and financial support.  Each year we have provided in-kind services during Build Week.  Build Week is an annual program that executes large-scale capital repair and new construction projects.   Additionally, in 2012, YMCA of Cape Cod was the beneficiary of one of the two playhouses we constructed, a mini replica of the boathouse at Camp Lyndon.

The YMCA Cape Cod exists to strengthen our community. Together, with people like you, we nurture the potential of kids, improve the nation’s health and well-being and give back and support our neighbors. Learn more about YMCA of Cape Cod on their website here.

The connection between our mission and the mission of HAC is obvious.  There is nothing more important than a shelter, a home.  Each year we participate in the Big Fix, putting our skills to work to help local citizens in need of important home repairs.  We have also participated in the NOAH telethon and provided financial support for various initiatives.  In 2011, HAC was the beneficiary of the Green EsCape playhouse we built.

HAC offers a continuum of housing programs that evolve with the changing needs of the community. HAC educates, trains and counsels with HAC’s consumer education department; weatherizes and conducts energy rehabs for low-income and market-rate properties; develops affordable housing for seniors, families and individuals; and provides an opportunity to become a homeowner with a full-service nonprofit real estate office.

HAC also provides emergency shelter and homelessness prevention assistance for individuals and families; administration of the largest housing subsidy program in our region; and family self sufficiency and employment services.

Cape Associates provides volunteer and financial support to this important organization.  It is no secret that the Cape has experienced a decrease in the young demographic over the past 2 decades.  We believe that a diverse workforce is critical to maintaining that which is special about this area we call home.  We look towards this organization to help recruit and retain young professionals in the Cape’s workforce.

CCYP is the only organization of its kind serving the region.  CCYP continues to grow through strategic partnerships and enhanced membership offerings and remain excited about what the future holds for the organization and for Cape Cod as a place to live, work, and raise a family.
