Scott Brierly, Services Foreman
Scott Brierly’s motto is, “There are no problems – only solutions.” The Cape Associates’ foreman comes from generations of carpenters. He was 8 years old when he got his first tool belt and began working with his father. He bought his first hammer at 18 and, not only does he still have it, he still uses it on jobs.
Part of the Cape Associates team since 2012, Scott receives a lot of satisfaction from his job. “I love seeing the final product,” he said. “I enjoy mentoring others who work with me, and teaching them the skills of the trade.” Having overseen many projects, he said, “The best, by far, were the Cole Family’s Tiki Bar, The Nature Conservancy, and the Homeless Prevention Council.”
“Scott has been an invaluable asset to me during my first year as a Project Manager,” said PM Abigail Chapman. “He is knowledgeable and respectful. He is an incredibly hard worker and more than happy to share his knowledge with others.”
Born and raised in Dennisport, Scott and his family still call it home. He spends as much time as he can with his wife, Savina, and their sons, Tristan (11) and Preston (7). “I like to spend time with the kids and do whatever my wife tells me to do,” he laughs. Together, along with their dog, Harley, they all like camping and traveling. Brierly also enjoys fishing, motorcycles and classic cars.
