Custom Cabinetry

Bathrooms
Cape Associates builds bathrooms across the Cape, and this gallery gathers a range of them in one place. The rooms vary in scale and mood, from a bright primary bath to a small powder room.
• Double vanity with white cabinetry and a framed mirror
• Frameless glass shower enclosures with tiled niches
• Mosaic tile backsplash behind a wall-mounted faucet
• Soaking tub set into a tiled surround under a skylight
• Patterned wallpaper above wainscot in a powder room
Several baths use large-format tile in soft neutral tones. Others bring in color through glass mosaic or a painted accent wall, and a few add wall sconces and shuttered windows for light.
One bath looks out over a wooded shoreline through a generous window beside the tub. Another pairs a warm wood vanity with a pale tiled floor and a patterned ceramic wall.

Kitchens
Kitchens are a regular part of the work Cape Associates does, and this gallery shows a variety of them. Cabinet colors range from soft gray and white to warm natural wood.
One kitchen sits under a vaulted ceiling with an arched window above the sink. Gray shaker cabinets are paired with black hardware, glass-front uppers, and a wall oven and microwave stack. A herringbone-style tile backsplash and white counters keep the room bright.
Other kitchens include:
• A white island with bar stools and a pass-through to the dining area
• Marble-patterned counters under an arched window
• A walnut-toned cabinet kitchen with a dark island
• A cabinet run with glass doors and open shelving for display
Across the set, painted wood floors and warm wood tones tie the cabinets to the surrounding rooms. Pendant lights, open shelving and stainless appliances recur throughout the set.

Vanities
This gallery collects bathroom vanities from Cape Associates custom cabinetry and bathroom work. Each is built to suit its room, with finishes that range from painted to natural wood. Each shows how color, stone and hardware work together.
A navy vanity with marble top and brass faucet sits beside a gray cabinet with brass knobs. A rustic wood double vanity and a light wood wall-hung vanity with a round vessel sink show a more natural look.
• White wall-mounted cabinet against green glass tile
• Oak vanity with a speckled top and an oak-framed mirror
• White drawer vanity with a double sink
• Octagonal window above a white-top vanity
• Honed marble tops and polished chrome fixtures
Sconces, framed and frameless mirrors, vessel and undermount sinks, and tile and shiplap backdrops show how each vanity is planned together with the lighting and finishes around it.

Custom Built-Ins
Cape Associates builds custom cabinetry and fitted millwork for Cape Cod homes, and this gallery brings together built-in work from several projects. The pieces range from kitchens to entries, and each is shaped to the room around it.
Kitchens show the widest variety. There are white shaker cabinets with a paneled range hood, charcoal cabinets with brass pulls and a farmhouse sink, and a dark wall of paneling beside a waterfall-edge island.
• A natural-finish cabinet wall with a window set into it
• A brick fireplace with built-in shelving and a wood mantel
• A paneled bedroom wall with recessed display niches
• A mudroom with hooks, cubbies and a bench below a built-in cabinet
Painted and stained finishes sit side by side across these photos, from soft white to deep charcoal and natural wood. Each unit uses the full height or depth of its wall, which suits the compact rooms common in Cape Cod houses.
