New Home, Eastham, MA

Cape Associates designed and built this new home in Eastham as a classic Cape. Natural cedar shingles, a steep gable roof and white-trimmed windows sit well on a level lot surrounded by trees, with a wood fence along the side yard.

The kitchen is bright and practical, with white cabinets, a granite-look counter, an island with seating and a deep blue subway tile backsplash. A wall oven, stainless refrigerator and built-in beverage cooler line the far wall. A stainless dishwasher and a drawer-style microwave complete the set.

Light oak flooring runs through an open living room with a stair rising behind it. Pale blue walls carry through the bedrooms and entry, where a navy front door brings in daylight.

A bathroom has colorful botanical wallpaper above white wainscoting. A bedroom with pale blue walls has two windows and a ceiling fan, and a hall closet with paneled sliding doors sits near the entry.
