This Wellfleet renovation is in progress, and the photos document the framing and building envelope as it comes together.

The exterior shows blue weather-resistive barrier covering the walls, with Marvin windows and doors set into the openings. Stacked wood framing and an upper-level volume with window openings are visible from the front and back.

Inside, the images show:
• Exposed wood beams and joists overhead
• Steel beams and brackets that support the structure
• Tongue-and-groove wood ceiling boards
• Ladders and scaffolding in a tall, open area
• Workers moving through the framed rooms

Wellfleet sits on the Outer Cape, among pine woods and tidal flats. These photographs show the structure and windows before finished surfaces cover them. Framing, weather barrier and window installation all happen at this stage, and each one has to be right before interior work begins.
