New Home, Orleans, MA

This is a new home in Orleans, built by Cape Associates around a bright, open great room. The room has a tall vaulted ceiling with white planked boards and a half-moon window above built-in shelving.

A fieldstone fireplace is centered between white cabinets, with a television above the mantel. Navy and light blue chairs, patterned ottomans and a striped rug set a coastal tone, and tall curtains line the French doors.

Beyond the living area, an open-rail staircase rises beside a dining area. A long wood table with black chairs sits on a blue rug under three pendant lights, with the kitchen just past.

The kitchen is finished in cream cabinets with a blue island marked with an X-pattern, rattan-style pendants and a range hood. A pantry-style nook has glass-front cabinets and patterned wall tile, with shuttered windows set into a dark gray tiled wall.
