Renovation, Wellfleet, MA

Architect: Cape Associates Design

Cape Associates Design handled this renovation in Wellfleet, with interior design by Design Complements. The gray-shingled house has navy shutters, a blue garage door and a trellis, and the interiors take their color from the water beyond. Light gray walls and white trim keep the main rooms calm.

The kitchen pairs white cabinetry with a deep blue leaf-patterned tile backsplash and a gray island. Nearby, the living and dining area opens to a deck, with windows facing the bay. Wide windows and glass doors frame the water view.

A stair with white risers and a cable railing rises beside a vivid coral wall, and a small desk sits at the landing. Each bedroom is painted in its own color, from seafoam to pale blue.

• Teal and soft blue bedrooms
• Ceiling fans and water views
• Gray-blue tiled shower
• Open living space facing the sea
