Dining Rooms

This collection brings together dining spaces Cape Associates has built and renovated across Cape Cod, each shaped by the setting around it.

Several rooms look straight out to the water, with tall windows and glass doors that open to decks or porches. Others sit beside the kitchen in an open plan, close to an island with counter stools.

Details you can see across the photos:
• Round and long rectangular tables in wood, some with Windsor-style chairs
• Chandeliers and pendant lights over the table
• Wide-plank hardwood floors with area rugs
• Bay and corner window groupings
• Painted walls in soft green and blue, and a built-in china cabinet with display niches

The common thread is a table placed where the light and the view are best. Whether the room is formal or casual, the finishes are practical and the layouts are planned around how families and guests gather.
