Designed by Studio Fōr and photographed by Lara Kimmerer, Artists Retreat is a dune-side home built as both a creative retreat and a seasonal residence for an artist couple. Each owner has a dedicated studio integrated into the architecture, so work and daily life share the house.
The home is positioned to take in the surrounding landscape, including sightlines toward the former Truro home of painter Edward Hopper. Light, solitude, and the Outer Cape's natural character are part of the design itself.
